WHO WE ARE

The Garland Amateur Radio Club, Inc., formed in 1957, offers a program of educational and civic activities in the second largest city in Dallas County. We are an ARRL Special Services Club supporting a full complement of activities including Field Day participation, license classes, and active support of public service events. The club also maintains the Garland Amateur Radio Communications Center, located in downtown Garland. We operate the VHF repeater on 146.660 MHz (-) with a PL of 110.9 and the UHF repeater on 442.700 (+) with a PL of 110.9. Here are our articles of incorporation and club bylaws.

In the Garland area, we have a very active ARRL Volunteer Examiner team that serves much of the area east of Dallas.
